Yesterday at Frog Hollow we had our annual Gold Rush chapter fundraiser and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day. We had about 35 people show up some; as far away as Rome, GA. All sections of the Chestatee fished pretty good and we even had some shoal bass, brim and a few other species caught.

Overall, it was a great event and there were several very nice fish caught. Riley netted four or five monsters.

The Chapter raised about $2,500 this year which will go a good distance for us to give back to key needs to preserve and support cold water fisheries.

Special thanks to Kenny at Frog Hollow for hosting, Jimmy Harris for the raffle items, Big T for his raffle donations and continued support of the Chapter, and to all other businesses and members that donated. We couldn’t do this without you.
